I completed my undergraduate degree in History at the University of Edinburgh, researching the networks that facilitated the enlistment of Scottish soldiers in the anti-Habsburg European armies during the Thirty Years' War. My master’s research will build upon this by analysing the socio-economic effects on Scotland of Scottish participation in the Thirty Years' War.
