I received dual bachelor's degrees in Economics and Management from Renmin University of China, where my undergraduate thesis explored the historical origins of risk preferences. Under the supervision of Professor Catherine Schenk, I am currently researching the development of modern banking in China. My broader research interests include financial history, historical political economy, cultural economics, development economics, and Chinese economic history.
